Group Questions

Read these verses:

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,

because they have put their trust in you.

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself is the eternal rock.

Isaiah 26:3-4

What do I put my trust in apart from Jesus?

What ways might God be calling us to be counter-cultural?

How can we follow Daniel’s example and stay on the rock without disengaging from our culture – being in the world but not of it?

Can you think of a time that you knew that God was your rock?

Turning to praise: What is your praise point from this session?

Encourage a few members of the group to turn those praise points into praise prayers.

Bless one another: The kingdom of God is coming, the rock that sweeps all other rocks away. Pray that God will strengthen us to live in readiness and joy as we look for the return of the King!
